Deanna J. Wilson was born in McAlester, OK on December 17, 1948. She is Greg Wilson’s mother. She was raised in Shawnee, OK and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1967.
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Oklahoma in 1987. She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford OK and earned her Master of Business Administration from SWOSU in 1993 with a concentration in finance.
She received her JD, Juris Doctor degree, with Honors from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1999. While in law school she was a Staff Editor on the Law Review, a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, and a member of the Ruth Bader Ginsberg American Inn of Court.
Deanna is admitted to practice law in the Western and Eastern US District Courts of Oklahoma and the Supreme Court of Oklahoma.
She worked for the Oklahoma Criminal Court of Appeals while in law school and assisted in editing judicial decisions for publication. She spent ten (10) years working for Thomson Reuters as an Account Manager training law school students and lawyers to do legal research in law schools, large law firms and government offices in Oklahoma and Arkansas. For three years, she was a regional manager supervising account managers in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and New Mexico.
Deanna retired from Thomson Reuters and joined her son, Greg Wilson, in the practice of law in Shawnee, OK at the Wilson Law Firm, PLLC in 2010. She assists Greg with personal injury, civil litigation, probate, family law and criminal defense cases. She handles all the bankruptcy and social security cases for the firm.
Deanna is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association (OBA) and the Pottawatomie County Bar Association. She is a member of the bankruptcy section of the OBA and participates in the Bankruptcy List Serv.
